Installed the 180 thermostat today. Cruising temp was at 85 celsius but at one point idling went up to 104 celsius. Curious if the idle temp is normal. What is everyone else's temps sitting at?

You do realize you're on a US forum. You can set your temps in the evic to give them to you in farenheight instead of Celius. I'm guessing you're untuned, those temps aren't out of line on an untuned truck, turn your heater controls to defrost,it should kick the electric fan in a bit earlier for you.With-out resetting the fans on/off parameters via a tune, it won't kick the electric fan in under roughly 220F.Put the mechanical fan back on,until you get it tuned,as i'm guessing you removed it.

Will do. Hoping to get a tuner in the next month or 2. Any suggestions? I saw on another thread you had suggested another Canadian for tuning but can't seem to find it again

Chris Zelinsky of Player 3 Performance tuning in Edmonton is very good.He tunes via HP not Diablo,so you should contact him first as you'll need an unlocked PCM and bypass cable from HP before you'll be able to tune your 19. For the longest time,my little 4X4 was the fastest 8 speed 4th Gen 4X4 anywhere in North America,it's only been in the last year and half the boys south of the border have started beating my trucks 4X4 numbers, and that's got more to do with the fact my combo hasn't really changed in the last 5 years, lol.
You can use my name if you contact Chris,Rick Wildman.
