Well , Picked it up for 500$ In the exact same spot as my 1953 International Harvester. also got a F550 for free

Ill Finger blast them both together and hope for the best.

Im giving myself 2y to do this.

A buddy gave me a 2003 F550 4x4, went out today to pull it out of the snow.

Same guy also gave me the visor and stacks from this old International semi

Pulled the cab this morning . Almost ready to pull in the F550

A lift, almost feels like cheating
I did have a great winch and front end loader, and lots of timbers
horded old carpet to roll around in the dirt.
Now a lift for me is handy as well.

Took it easy today.

Was able to get the original windshield out without damaging it

Got the cab all stripped out.

What a good day, Got power to the ECU finally. Truck only has 160xxx km ... lol...

No codes in the trans, and most of these are related to the FICM and chewed up wires.

Started checking the rear end today, all I Had to order was Brake lines, brake Hoses, parking brake cable and will need diff oil. The rest is all good. heck I even pulled the axles to check the diff.

Took a ton of work to get here. but the rear end is all stripped of the useless chite like sway bar, bump stops extra leaf packs and gas tank ...lol..

Did a 1.5" drop and new U bolts. Now looking at shackle drop for another 1.5-2" depending on how much I can drop the front.

Airlift 5000 on the way as well with twin Viair compressor

Now just need to figure out my new shock length and order some Bills

Also stripped out most of the engine bay And hopefully take off that cab this weekend.

I would not have pictured this thing as being a lowering oroject.
