Hello All!
I have a 1979 Powerwagon. She's been my daily driver for over a decade. The truck had 28K miles on it when I first bought it. Now she has nearly 70K miles.
I was driving to town from my house the other day and ended up in a ditch after swerving to avoid hitting a deer.
I had her towed into a local body shop for repairs. The good news is that the repairs cost falls under the threshold of being "totaled".
The bad news is that this body shop says that the parts I need have all been discontinued.
They said I need a shop that specializes in "restorations".
Are any of y'all aware of a source for body parts (quarterpannel, trim, grill, headlights, etc) for this year Powerwagon?
I'm not prepared to say goodbye to this truck yet.
