Hey all,
I have a 1981 Dodge D150 2WD truck and am fully overhauling the front suspension. I was able to find everything I needed on RockAuto except for one bushing, the "round" bushing that mounts near the end of the strut rod and holds the sway bar end link. I was able to find the bushings for the end link but not the circular bushings that fit on the strut rod (pics attached). I can't seem to find this bushing anywhere and it doesn't even show up on the LMC truck suspension diagram. I'm not even sure what it's called?
I was able to find one seller on eBay who is selling what looks like a direct replacement full assembly with the bushing I need, the sway bar end link bushings, and the metal housings/rods. Unfortunately they are not willing to sell me just the bushings and at $125 that seems a bit steep (pic attached).
Does anyone know where I can get these bushings or somewhere that would sell a comparable universal bushing? Worst case I'll pickup that eBay unit but surely someone has a better solution?
Bushing dimensions are approx 2" OD, 1" ID, 1.75" overall length with a slot to allow fitment over the strut rod.
