I got just got a '14 and went to the dealer today to ask what I could do to lift it and not affect my extended warranty. They basically told me that suspension warranty will be void but other than that, everything should still be under warranty unless I move the pinion angle (don't even know what that is actually). I'd like to get about 2-3inch lift in it but dont really know where to start...what kits are out there...what tires....etc....so, where does one start on lifts?

There are numerous posts about problems with leveling kit on the 2014 ram. In fact someone posted an actual ram service bulletin warning dealers of problems with level kits on new Rams and to not cover them!

It's not techinally a lift kit, but I do have the Rough Country 2.5 inch level kit on my truck. Had it installed for over a year now and never had a problem with almost 25,000 miles on the truck.

I had a pro comp 2.5" installed at a trusted local shop and said they never had any trouble with it... 100 km later my ball joint already popped out. they corrected the problem, all was great until I jacked the truck to install my winter rims and tires. The ball joint popped out again after this.

My truck returned again at the shop, they replaced the pro comp with a daystar yesterday. honestly I don't think it will change anything and my ball joint will pop out sooner or later.

Meanwhile I contacted my dealership , who are "lifted truck friendly" , and said they installed so many 2.5 leveling/lift kit and never got any issues and they was not supposed to pop out. The will check that out and give me some news next week about what they will do with this.

any leveling kit on the 13+ rams will require aftermarket UCA's to help combat the weak ball joint issues.

Bilstien's @ 2.1 w/ a 3/4 or 1'' spacer in the rear will give you what your looking for ideally. and you can run 34's easily, and 35's with a slight stuffed look.
