Questions for those that have the two quart extended pan from PPE.

How much did it drop your transmission temp?

Did you have any trouble making it fit with your exhaust?

Reason I ask, I got offered a new Uninstalled one with 2 extra filters for a great price and am considering.

Now my 14 RT doesn't run hot, I have the Chaulk04 valve installed and am worried about over cooling.

My 2024 1500 classic is under warranty and doesn't need it. Yet. But I know I will not let it sit around if I purchase. I changed the pan and fluid in my RT about 20k ago. My 24 has 12k miles, so not an issue.

Feedback from those that have taken the plunge. My 14RT at speed, trans temp picture below

It'll drop your temps probably about 6/7 degrees .Where you are,you might want to look into a stand alone thermostat from somewhere like Improved Racing.
I can't comment on fitment,as i didn't put the deep pan on until after i had long tubes,so i never had to contend with the cross over pipe under the pan,but it supposedly will fit with a stock exhaust.

A guy by the name of Ryan Janocko over on the ZF Swap page is building these adapters, that delete everything off the side of the trucks transmission Big,and allow you to just use a normal NPT fitting, beats having to tap the case that's for sure

Great news, 6 or 7 degrees is ok.

Yeah I was going to have to deal with the thermo unit On the RT. I think I ll pickup the pan for the 24, and maybe this adapter for the RT.

RT has headers and true duals, was thinking more for the 24 on the pan, it's the one that's offroad more. Going shorties on the 24, picked them up already, 300 for a set of almost new ARH shorties and new in the package ARP bolts. (You know the story, mounted once, only driven on sunny Sundays by a little Ole lady) lol.

Get the PPE pan, and the 24 should be set. I'm offroad in it quite a bit, maybe just be ready, if I can keep my hands off modifying for 2 more years.

Thanks @Wild one

If you Google search the name and Facebook it brings up a second video on the unit

I love when people come up with clean simple solutions.
