Hi, I have a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 Tradesman crew cab. My OEM wheels were 275/70R18.

Upgraded to:
I put a 2.5” leveling kit (spacers) on it.
I put 35x12.5/R17 tires on it.
I put 17x9 -12 offset 8-165.1 wheels on it.

I can drive it, but it rubs a little on some turns. On full shock compression in rubs a lot more.

I want to buy new wheels to correct this issue. What offset do I need to have to not rub anymore?

Thank you for your time.

You want a positive offset, not negative. The aev wheels are about perfect. They are 8.5” wide and +27 offset. They clear 37’s with their 3” lift (although their kit does move the axle forward 1”).

Olyelr, Thanks for your response. Beautiful truck! I was thinking +18 offset but wanted to see if anyone in this forum had the same setup that works. I also love the feedback as there is a lot of knowledge on this site. I don’t want to spend more money if it’s still going to be a problem. I drive my truck every day. It doesn’t rub very much at all. Right now the wheels stick out 5.75” past the fender. So, if I move it in 30mm (1.25”) it should clear. I just hope it doesn’t create another problem on the backside of the wheel. Thanks again!

+18 is pretty common and seems to work well.
