Hi all,

Here are Progress pics of an enclosure I made for my JL 8W7’s. Re-used and old fiberglass enclosure (Yeah I know it looked pretty bad lol) I had made for my old Kicker Cvr 12’s. Lmk what you guys think!

is that a post opposite side of the subs?

If so is the volume of the port correct for two of those subs? looks on the small side, and port volume play a huge factor i the sound.

That looks great! I would love to compare them to my single 12W6 and see if they are punchier like I think they might be.

Thanks! I’m Using an Alpine MRP-M500 so they’re underpowered, but still sounds good. Will probably upgrade to a PDX-M12 soon.

Any updates on this sweet box? Is it ported or sealed? I am thinking of just installing (1) JL 8W7 and making a box to fit under my seat. The 10W7 also interests me, but my concern is not enough area in the box to sound good. Im not really a bass kind of guy, but need a sub to fill in the sound from my rear 6x9s and front components.

I like those amps...little power houses. You could buy a second one, pretty cheap, and run one to each sub...give them a nice work out. Nice work. Bet it sounds nice!
