My dad passed away a couple years ago & left me his beloved '03 1500. It's a manual 4x4 and I love it. I've been trying to teach myself how to fix a few things. Figured out & changed the spark plugs by myself (which if you knew what a ****** I am, you'd be super impressed).
Recently I've had issues with the passenger rear tire getting significantly more wear than the other tires. Like, a lot. I'm currently trying to swap it out and put on the spare. After dealing with the nightmare of getting the kit from under the passenger seat and the spare from under the bed - I'm ready to change them. Problem is ... I don't know where to put the jack.
I've never posted here before, so if i put this in the wrong place, I'm sorry. Otherwise, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under the axle as close to the tire as possible, probably just outside the shock mount on the axle. Once wheel is about 1.5” off the ground, place a jack stand under the axle as well for safety.

Also it is a good idea to set the emergency brake and chock the tires in the front if jacking up the rear.

It did come with a manual & I actually saw that exact page. Trouble is, I don't know what a "jack drive tube" or an "extension tube" is. So connecting the 2 of them wasn't really an option for me.

I successfully got the tire changed. Surprisingly, most of my trouble came from just holding the weight of the tire while lining up the studs. But I got it.

Thank y'all for all your help. Really :)
