2003 Ram fuse box

I recently had to replace the fuse box in the pickup due to no trailer lights at all. Now I wondering if there is any way to seal it so no corrosion can start to form and ruin my new fuse box. I don't want to spend the money again and in Northwest Oregon, It rains a fair amount, only 10 months out of the year.

I wonder if something like silicone or RTV would work?
