2004 Dodge 3500 Backordered air bag

Well, while here in NYS I went to get my truck inspected and it turns out within the computer there's something that prevents the inspector from doing an inspection because the air bag recall was never done. I called a couple of dealerships, and the passenger side airbag is on back order, and they can't tell me a projected date for shipment. So now my truck has an expired sticker and I can't legally use it. I have called Stellantis but nothing has happened. Any suggestions as to how to handle this? Thanks!!!

My truck gets inspected every yr.,no problems.I get two sheets of paper when completed,1.your vehicle has passed and 2.pass.sd. airbag recall.I did get the dr. sd. done but gave up after a few yrs. of calling for the pass. sd. and no parts avail.Maybe try another insp. station.
