Well I'm still running with 360k miles but I can feel it getting weaker. Runs pretty good, but I can tell it's getting low on power when I pull something or simply going up a long hill.

My question is should I simply go with a quality replacement like Jasper or is there other suppliers doing good replacements? And while it's on the crate are there any upgrades I might consider before dropping it in the truck? I'm not looking for tire burning HP. I have other toys for that.

I will mention that I'll be replacing the injectors (with something) and the ignition coils have already been replaced with MSD street fighter. I'm basically looking at a possible cam swap to something that will result in more torque.

It may be a better idea to get a short block and put your cam in and have your heads rebuilt making sure valve seats are pinned. That way you can dictate what gets put in your motor. I have heard some horror stories with Jasper and their hemis but I guess you will always have complainers.

Why don't you have yours rebuilt? Even better, you have a 2005, have it built into a stroker. You can go as small as 370 and as big as 410 on a 5.7 block.
