So like the title says, truck is completely dead. Nothing works. No lights, no dings or chimes, nothing. Almost like there isn't a battery in it at all.

Battery it good, couple months old, truck gets ran a few times a week, and currently pushing 12.7 V. Truck ran fine this morning. Drove to store, Crunk right up from store and drove it home. No issues.

Went back out to test trailer lights, opened the door everything worked. Put key in ignition, everything was fine. Turned the key to crank and *click* everything shut off.

I've gone through every fuse I can find, nothing is blown. Swapped them anyway to test. Swapped all the relays relating to the ignition just to be sure.

I've ran out of places to look.

I had the same exact thing happen in my 2003 2500 with the 5.7 engine, turned out that a plate in the battery broke and shorted out the whole thing. I had driven a couple times that day, pulled into my friend's driveway and shut it off. When I got back in that started up. As soon as I turned the key everything just went kaput. Have you checked the battery for volts and amps since it happened?

put a actual battery tester on it that means nothing and yes check batttery cables terminals and grouds. Hvae you tried to jump start the truck just as a test?

Clean both terminals and every ground connection accessible in the engine compartment.

There is a good chance of corrosion at that age.
