2007 1500 Front Axle disaster

Was out last weekend and truck was sliding in the snow and got stuck. When we hooked tow rope around the front tow hooks I noticed the CV joint came apart. Upon further inspection I noticed the mount that holds the front axle housing up was sheared and broke. I can't find any built front end axles for sale, went to local dealer and got a $2300 quote for just the axle housing (need it to support the weight of the front dif)

Anyone run into similar issues?

You can check car-part.com or ebay. I found a couple for around $300 on ebay right now.

Thanks, I just grabbed one on Ebay, going to have local driveline shop swap components into used housing I bought when it gets in
