I Have a 2008 Ram 1500 4.7 w/ 6 Speed.

I have this issue where after driving for a while it gets extremely hard to put into gear. I replaced the master/slave (with the entire sealed kit) it solved the problem for about a month but now the problem is slowly creeping back. Has anyone had this issue?

Have you ever replaced the clutch? If not how many miles on it if so what brand? also what brand master/slave cylinder did you use. Also have you ever changed the gear oil?

clutch was replaced about Two years ago only one available to me at the time was one from Autozone it might have been a duralast. I got the master/slave from advanced i don't remember the brand but it was special order. Gear oil was changed recently as well.

I don't think it's anything internal at this point i'm leaning towards the hydronic fluid getting to hot because it takes over an hour of driving for it to act up and after it sits it works just fine.

What is the likelihood of the slave/master failing after a month?
