All,
I'm looking for a radio with bluetooth, txt integration, back-up cam input and display, I'd love RCA outputs for a subwoofer/amp. If I could find a deck with an Android operating system, I would be in heaven.
Currently I use a 4g enabled tablet with a very ugly tablet mount and cables everywhere. I'd rather have a built in solution that looks like it belongs.
Couple questions,
Is this even possible?
Steering wheel controls don't matter to me, but I understand some vehicles have the factory alarm and some of the instrument functions controlled by the radio. Will I have problems with this?
Also, some "premium" audio factory upgrades are so integrated into every thing else that replacing the head unit cost way more then just the new head unit and a wiring harness. Hell, I've seen relocation kits for the factory radio, to put it behind the seats because the vehicle wouldn't run without it. Is this the case with my truck?
I've searched around and it seems the sites that are selling something say its possible if you buy...whatever....
Not sure what to google, tried 2010 ram r/t radio swap and some how ended up on a **** site... well.... maybe I was distracted a little... Anyways...
Any info?
