searched the forum for hits, nothing seemed quite relevant.. so.

replaced brake and cruise switch, no warning lights. truck runs, drives, everything else is 100% except..

only thing is the right rear tire pressure sensor is dead, so that's flashing, but everything i see shows that shouldn't be a consideration, and hasn't ever been in any other vehicle i've worked on/driven (all 4 are dead in our pathfinder, and the cruise works fine in it, for example.)

so, since there's only a few things in this circuit (pcm, brake switch, stalk switch, TAM, harness), and everything is either new and/or working (yes, i tested both switches before install, and the old stalk tested bad, as well as the brake switch coming apart as i took it out), and nothing is presenting an error code, and the truck drives fine, so the TAM has to be working, since its throttle by wire..

anyone have the slightest frame of reference on where to start poking to see whats going on?

i'm officially lost. and lack one of the fancy diagnostic tablets/etc to see if the stalk signal is even presenting to the ecu/triggering/etc.

2011 ram 1500 quad cab 4.7 power windows, locks, cruise, and the towing brake controller option but little else. not quite bottom of the line package, but its close.

much obliged for any assistance.

edit:

so it's randomly working again, and i guess we keep an eye on things to make sure its not the pcm or the clocksrping/whatever having issues. would just outright delete this, but that doesn't seem to be an option.
