2011 Ram 5.7 Thinking of upgrading after cam shaft went bad. Can I drive without deleting mds?

I have a 2011 ram with a 5.7 hemi. My cam needs to be replaced and so I have looked into upgrading it to a non mds cam from texas speed and performance. My problem is no one in my area is capable of tuning/deleting the MDS and I would have to drive somewhere else to get it tuned. Would I be ok to drive it somewhere after I put the new cam and delete kit in?

Pretty sure driving in tow/haul mode bypasses MDS so yes
