2011 Ram Vibration Problem - Help needed

I have a 2011 Ram RCSB Hemi that was bought new last year. From the first day it has had a vibration, very noticable around 60 mph. I also notice a "rocking" feeling at slow speed, around 10-15 mph. The dealership has already replaced 2 tires, and rebalanced everything a few times, but only manages to change the speed a which it is most noticeable, but always between 60-70 mph.
Anyone else ran into this problem? Any ideas where to look next would be appreciated.

Stock or Aftermarket wheels and Tires?

I would look at wheels for sure. Once in awhile you find one that has been oblonged or out of round from the manufaturer.

UPN04, they are the stock 20" wheels and original Goodyear tires.
Etroze86, I have thought of that. Would this show up on a road-force test? The dealership has done that test twice, and say all are within specs (after replacing 2 of the tires the first time).

Road force tests are miss leading IMO. I found broken belts and bad wheels by looking at the parts and the road force test came up within specs. If they can't find it in the wheels its time to get deeper into things like the surfaces the wheels are mounting too the axle shafts and things like that. Hell that would've saved them alot of time and money if the tech would slow down and think about what they are doing. Bring it back and have them make it right. The rocking feeling is it like its rolling over something like a big stick? or is it the truck shaking side to side? Can the dealer reproduce all of this? Are you going on ride alongs to point out these things out? Sorry this got a little long but there are a few things that can make it an easy diagnosis.

Etroze86, the "rocking" feels like it is going over small lumps or dips in the road.
I am starting to think it's a bad wheel, just go to figure out which one. I actually have a spare factory 20" wheel, just need to put a tire on it. Then I can switch out until I find the bad one. I can use it as a spare tire instead of the factory spare. I don't think that factory spare will fit the front if I get the drop spindles from McGaughy that I'm planning on.

I would look at wheels for sure. Once in awhile you find one that has been oblonged or out of round from the manufaturer.

You can also wind up with gorilla warping from service techs mis-use of the impact wrench.

This is very true I know alot of techs that don't you torque stick or torque wrench for that matter. If its a good shop and you ask them to hand torque it they should. I would lean more on a bad wheel also. Swapping wheels is a decent way to find that out for sure.

I would say check your driveshaft and CV joints man. If dealership fixed everything else start looking at your drive train.

Mine does that with my Goodyear eagles if the psi in each tires isn't the same.

I have the same issue. I bought the truck new with Liquid Metal rims on it, dealer installed. with factory goodyear tires. When I purchased new tires Michelin M/S2 I have had a vibration consistently from 60-80mph. I have taken it to the dealership and they said it was my transmission output shaft(changed) did not fix it. So they then rotated and did a regular tire balance made the vibration worse. Then they did a road force dual plane balance, the ride was smoother at speeds under 70mph, but once over 70 the vibration came back. Im stuck on what to do because my buddy works at the dealer and he said that unless my drive shaft is out of balance there really isn't anything else it could be. But I call BS because there are a lot of other things it could be, like CV, or even just a U joint in the drive shaft because they are the non greaseable from the factory. I have also asked about the Recall for the rear pinion nut as well because as it becomes loose it starts to wear on the bearings which can cause vibrations.

The only thing I have left to do is swap out each tire with the spare and see if it is indeed one of the tires, I have had the rims checked out with a mic and non of them are out of round.

My first thought after all that check into the Hub Centric rings that go in the back of the rim they are usually pretty cheap and it will rule out the hub centric possibility

Just thinking out loud some aftermarket rims just need a little extra help. They aren't always true lug centric.

if the vibration goes away after 80 I would put my money on a tire or something to do with them

U-Joint possibly but they usually make a noise as well
