2012 ram challenger style hood question

I just got a hood from a friend that works at a body shop. Its the oem hood with the challenger style scoops and I need some info. I need to know where can I find the vents/grill inserts that go on the hood scoops and how much do they run? If anyone can help me I appreciate thanks

Not sure what the part number is for the vents, but make your own from chicken wire and paint them black.

Ya I got it for free just need to do the body work has a lil bit of hail damage. But it's better than ditching out 1k or so for a new hood

Have you tried ebay or the Moparparts website or get some expanded metal to match your grill

Ya if I can't find the inserts or what ever they r called then ima have to make some.. on eBay I have seen some mesh type thing but Idk how it is cuz I have never ordered it for anything

No I just got the hood yesterday and saw it was lacking those. But I will try n c what they tell me or maybe my friend can get them thru the body shop cuz I'm sure they will get a better deal

I'm not sure they will fit? They are about 9 to 10" long.

I think the width might be different as well. I could go out and measure them for you if need be.

They really don't do anything than direct air towards the cat's location and let heat out. That's about it on my Challenger.
