2013 - 2015 Projector headlights on a 2016+ truck

I have a backup pair of genuine RAM projector headlights from 2013 (9012 low beam vs 9005 low beam in 2016+ fixtures) as backups or for a project someday. Curious if these fixtures are plug and play in my 2017. Wondering if there were any other differences other than low beam bulb type.
