Not too long ago I was driving when I looked at my driver side mirror. My bedside caught the sunlight just right am the metal looked wavy. When I got home I ran my hand down that same spot and sure enough! You could feel small waves in the bedside. Has anyone else had this problem? It was kinda disappointing with A new pickup..

I will agree with the poor paint quality, no waves in my panels

I have a 3 foot long run under my left rambox. Dealer has offered to fix it but I'm afraid it will look worse when they're done fixing it.

I can't get a picture of it. My pickup is dirty and it's cloudy today. But it's definitely noticeable. As well as the poor paint quality. I'm gonna have the dealer take a look when I get it up for the oil change

Update.

Got the truck up to the dealer. The lady called the warranty people and said that the best they could do is paintless dent repair.

I have something similar to what I think you are talking about. Mine is not really noticeable unless you know it is there, and I am not going to look into getting it fixed. I mostly attribute it to the super thin panel thickness (trying to save weight/cost), and its susceptibility to flexing/micro denting.

Paintless dent repair is great because it doesn't allow some clown to bust through your paint, possibly mis-match the color and swiril the clear coat.

If I do decide to do anything it'll for sure have to be under warranty but it's just noticeable to bother me.
