I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Sport with a Push to Start ignition and I recently started experiencing strange key fob issues, I have gotten a numerous amount of keys programmed to my truck and it still will not detect my keys except for the one key I got the truck with when I purchased the vehicle. For Example my Fob would have a hard time locking/unlocking the truck without multiple presses, I would also have to often physically push the key fob into the start
button to get the truck to start or it would say “Key Fob Not Detected”.
With that being said it made me think my Key fob was going bad so I ordered a new fob from Dodge Dealership and it only worked one time when I picked the truck back up and as soon as I got home the key stopped working completely. I still had main key so I went right back up after this happened and had them order a new key fob / same process as they did last time and the same exact thing happened when i got the next brand new set. I had my truck towed to a different Dodge Dealership further away for further inspection and we came to terms that it may be the “RF Hub” or AKA the Key Fob Receiver. I then had this dealership order and replace my RF Hub and order a new set of keys and the technician said that it worked fine for the first two days and then it stopped working again! I now have no clue what this could be and I dont know what to do, any ideas or thoughts could help thank you!
