2013 Uconnect 5 Issue

Hi Folks:

Recently my 2013 Ram with uconnect 5 has been acting funky....here's the situation.

The radio (or any other screen for that matter) will be on for approximately 2:30 minutes, then shuts down and reboots.

Stays on for another 2:30 and shuts down again.....over and over again.

Have any of you experienced this ?, and if so, is there a remedy ?

UConnect 5 wasn't available in Rams until '22.

Yes it was. So was 8.4. So don’t say things, if you don’t know what your talking about

Uconnect 5 is not the same as a Uconnect 5 inch screen.

Sounds like a failed radio, probably needs replaced.

Good news is you can score used ones for under 200.00.

Yep, that's a 3c (3rd gen) Ra2/Vp2 uConnect 5" radio.

uConnect 3c radios (3", 5" & 8.4") used from 2013-18/classic trucks

uConnect 4c radios (3",5",8.4"&12") used from 2019-21 in new body style trucks.

uConnect 5c radios (3",5",8.4"&12") used from 2022+ in new body style trucks.

When you say the radio AND any other screen turn on what do you mean? Post a video to you tube maybe and link it here?
