I recently purchased a 2014 ram 1500 3.6 with the 8 speed transmission. It only had 24000 miles. It had set idle for months. Often when I start it, I get a ”thud” coming from under the truck. It can be a small thud, all the way to the point the truck moves. Its a 1-2 second delay after the motor starts.
