2014 rack and pinion

I know it’s been discussed on previous threads but I was looking for viable options. My 2014 42k big horns electric steering is going in and out. Amazing that the recall started in Jan 2015 but doesn’t cover mine. Ram dealer has it for 2200 plus core and a god dam 10% upcharge to get it from another dealer. Orig Part number 68230030ad.. anyone have any luck finding a cheaper option. Surfing the internet but all seem “out of stock” I’m livid .. thanks I’m advance for any help.

Here is one site as for cheaper I dont know maybe someone else will post a cheaper aftermarket one?. I have not owned a newer ram yet but when I do I plan to try to convert it back to old power steering to many issues with E steering.

Thanks just grabbed one of the last ones on Long Island.. and they aren’t even taking orders at this point. One dealership even threw 500 more to the already inflated part. Can’t believe how much things have changed over the last couple of years.

I ended up getting the last reman one on Rock Auto. Hopefully it lasts until this debacle with parts ends.
