2014 ram 1500 Big Horn rear window defrost

I have a button for rear defrost on my 8.4 display as well as a rear defrost button on the center console. I also have a power rear window. However, when I push the rear defrost button, nothing happens. The rear window doesn't have any lines across it and it doesn't seem to defrost. Why do I have these buttons if my rear window doesn't have the wires running across it to defrost???

The defrost button is for turning on the heated mirrors and if equipped the defrost for the slider window. Since you don't have the rear defrost it just turns on the heated mirrors.

Exactly what Tach_tech said. If you don't have the read window defrosters, then it's for your heated mirrors.
