Any difference in driving experiences?

It may be in my head but I like it better this way. I always felt the spacer added a bit of squishy factor being they're a big piece of poly material. Sold the Icon springs already so I'll put the Daystar spacers up for sale next.

I don't think its all mental, though you might have a few screws loose :)

think about it, the longer free length and heavier rate is allowing the spring to function properly. Instead of a spacer and a mostly compressed spring that's too light of a rate for the constant load, which would feel spongy. Properly paired rate to your specific use.

I'm excited for your results, and to hopefully get myself a pair over the summer. These will obviously allow me to grab the decked system like I've wanted and lose the bed box without squatting to nothing.

Decided to give a little love to the WJ. ordered an Iron Rock front trackbar to replace what i think it was an RC Trackbar. Iron Rock is thicker and a lot more heavy duty. Also ordered an HD rear sway bar from Iron Rock as well but that one was in back order so i should have it in couple of weeks. The factory rear sway war on this Jeep is super thin so no bueno after a 4" lift so i need to fix that.
Front live axels are just awesome, after replacing the trackbar i just needed to make a slight adjustment on the drag link and she's driving straight again.

Just wanted to say you have a great build here man, very informative and your truck looks great. I love following along and seeing what you're planning next. PM me when you get the new Fox shocks installed, I'm interested in taking those King 2.5's and I'm just down the way in HB.

Sure thing bro I'll PM you. Should be about 4-5 weeks as they're been built by Fox then they go to Accutune for valving and tune.

Thanks man, no worries! How do they ride with the Accutune valving? My plan was to buy and get them tuned from them anyways, I've heard nothing but great things. But if I can grab them off you then even better, lol

They're plain dope. Smooth and firm on the street, but you go through speedbumps like they're not even there, not counting the transformation on dirt roads. I can't get enough of high performance shocks :)

Awesome! Well I’m sold, let me know when you’re ready to sell them :) only things is I’ll be looking like a goon running Kings in the rear and Bilstein 5100’s up front for a bit lol. Work is slow going due to everything going on so I won’t be able to place the order on the front coils until later in the year.

Want to address the rear sway bar angle one more time
49884181003_e3197b9dfb_k.jpg2020-05-11_04-29-03 by RAM RSM, on Flickr

I'm running Teraflex links for the JK, 12 1/4" long, so keeping up with the same theme, i went adjustable this time so i won't have to keep changing links, plus this ones have flex joints on both ends.
Clayton COR-5109100. Min length on them is 8.5", Max length is 16". I'll adjust them to about 13-13 1/4" long.

Still deciding what to do about the brake line on the driver side as i need to extended it a little more. i'll prob extend the bracket and call it a day, if that doesn't work then i'll get longer brake lines.

Got the new adjustables JK sway bar links, but the bolt that goes on the frame side is a tiny bit bigger so it wouldn't fit clean. Not a big deal i just need to run a drill bit and literally just clean the holes, the other end fits perfect in the Hellwig bar holes. I had them set at 12.5" eye to eye here.

I didn't do it cause right now the angle on the bar is 5* so anywhere between 3* and 5* should be peachy.

My Teraflex links are 12 1/4 long eye to eye so after putting the angle finder they seem fit for 1.5-2" rear lift. I may use the new ones later on or just port them to my Jeep. I'll have them on standby for now until i have the 29" extended Fox 2.5's installed and see if i'll need longer rear sway bar links or not.

Taking out the comment i posted above about 12 1/4" sway bar links being enough for 2" lift. I kept thinking to myself why the gauge reads 6* yet my eyes are telling me i don't have enough length in the links. Duh, my Driveway is at a incline lol

Sway bar links are JKS 2943, I bought from Northridge as Claytons, and Clayton sent me these ones. Oh well, same price and JKS is also good chit.

So with the truck leveled, this is how my sway bar angle looked like

And the gauge read 15*
49927711636_0249371825_k.jpgUntitled by RAM RSM, on Flickr

I adjusted the new sway bar links to be 13 1/4 so 1" longer than before, i also touched up the frame hole with a 1/2 drill bit so the upper end of the links will fit clean.
Now the sway bar angle looks more pleasing to my eyes

With the angle at about 7*

So cheating on the driveway now she reads 0* lol

Ordered May 04, so more likely they should be by mid June. Can't wait to run them suckers.
To pass the time i ordered a couple of Amazon led pods to use in my rear bumper and 4 recovery pads to throw in the truck bed to have more recovery gear. Alsol I've been keeping an eye on the Barricade bumper with the winch mount https://www.americantrucks.com/barr...with-led-lighting-r109761.html#product_pics-3
But the mfakcer never goes down in price. I called them up and they say they can wave $49 in handling or whatever, lol i want %20 off :)

Hopefully by than things open up and you can get out to test them as well!

I'LL keep an eye on those rear leds. I'm looking to add some flush mounts into the stock bumper at some point when I get motivated. But for now everything works well enough I don't feel I need anything per se.

Those barricade bumpers don't move in price ever. That's why I never pulled the trigger on them, I watched them for almost a year and have given up on the idea of a "sale". I bet you can get a hidden mount to work with your ICI setup.

The leds are nothing special, they're just 4" cheap pods. I just needed 2 of them to have something a little brighter in the bumper when i go in reverse or when i'm running in dusty roads so the truck can be seen and the Barricade bumper has provisions for them.

I bought the Barricade i have in the back on a special for $100 and change cheaper but that particular Winch HD or whatever they call it for the front, that one hasn't moved for sure. They had a couple of open boxes for the version without the winch for $500, somehow i was expecting today they'll do something but nope. I'll keep waiting maybe somebody ordered some of them today and at least one or two will return, i'm not in a rush :)

I've been looking at the vice hidden winch mount as well but it has no provision to run schackles and it's almost $600, plus i'll have to modify the ICI to make it fit and i won't be able to recup any of the money i spent on it. I'm hoping to sell the ICI for $500 and put that money towards the new one.
