They said it 's the sensor/sending unit. They need me to run some gas out and then they have to drop the fuel tank. It's $439 and not covered.
Well the damn truck stranded me tonight 3 miles from my house... It just stalled and started dumping fuel on the ground. This is the second time it's going back after they supposedly fixed it. The first time, the fuel light came on again and they had to calibrate it. My wife and I wound up walking home 3 miles pushing the bicycle that was in the bed because we didn't want it stolen and it had reflectors on it. After spending 25 minutes to explain my location to the Chrysler roadside assistance rep their tow service finally showed up 2 1/2 hours after I got home. Then he couldn't get the truck in neutral when it wasn't running. I had to search Youtube for the ridiculous procedure and text it to him or he was going to drag it up on the flatbed. Then when he finally gets it to the dealer, both gates were locked so he had to take the truck to their storage lot 60 miles away.
