2014 remote start add on

Hello all, new member here. I just bought a 2014 crew cab express. I'd like to add on the factory remote start package. I went to the aftermarket sales person at the dealership I bought the truck from and am getting quoted over $1300 for the factory remote start. This seems really high since I see the complete kit for $275 on the mopar site I can't see over a grand in labor cost to put this in. Has anyone purchased the remote start add on from the dealer and if so what was the cost? I'm thinking of trying other dealers around town.

I had mine in my truck already but then I went and got a remote start with GPS so I can start/unlock/find my truck from anywhere using my adroid phone. I got all this fromVisions for $700 installed. The pricing you got seems really high but then dealers always like to bend you over.

I would ask them why it is so high if the kit right from Mopar is so cheap.

thats your system for under $300 in parts cost. its all plug and play (meaning no splicing)

Bestbuy has a Viper alarm with remote start $560 installed. You can start it from a mile away.

it can tell you your door status, and its gps tracking
