2014 Tailgate Dropping. Anyone Else?

Awesome! Been 2 weeks, figured it should have arrived by now. Nothing looked cracked or anything?

Nothing at all? Everything was super clean. Looked like it just rolled off the factory floor!

Just do as I did, give them the model # I posted earlier in this thread and don't mention "recall". Hopefully it's not flagged in the system yet.

Just be prepared that if you do take it in later, because your truck still has a pending recall, they may stack another block in like they did to me, which will cause the tailgate to not lock. That's the block Neon has now.

The recall affects 2013 – 2018 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups. Affected trucks in the 2015 through 2017 model years have 8-foot beds; while 2013, 2014 and 2018 trucks built before April 1, 2018 have various bed sizes.

Figured it would expand to all of them. The part is less than a buck, so if folks don't want to make a special trip to the dealer to wait 2 hours for their wrench moneys to install it and maybe mess something up, may as well buy one if you can. Very easy install.
