Hey Guys,
Purchased a 2015 1500 Laramie from a friend. it was his dad's (70 years old) daily commuter that was mainly driven on the highway. no towing.
they had the oil changed regularly at a 3700 mile interval at jiffy lube with penzoil conventional.
truck currently has 134,000 miles. runs strong. has a very light tick, sounds like normal lifter noise to me. it is due for it's oil change in 800 miles.
I was considering switching to PUP to help prolong the engine life. when I check the oil, it looks pretty clean. just not sure if the benefits outweigh the risks.
Thanks in advance! been enjoying this forum! lots of great info!
