2015 3500 dually tail gate

Hi all, new here!
Smucked the corner of my tail gate, looked at some painted tail gate shells on line, but they tell me it will not fit a dually!?
Isn't the tail gate shell the same on a dually and a single wheel? sure look the same, cant see why they would not be the same?
any way, looking at parts lookup on line, they don't even give me a dually option,

any input??

Well just did a google search for "painted tailgate shell" and come up with replacement tailgates from all over the place, even Amazon... each one I clicked on says it fits RAM 1500, 2500, 3500. Nothing about not fitting a dually. I have not seen any difference from a dually to a regular bed. It is my understanding that the only difference is the bed sides to accommodate the dual rear wheels.

Post a link up on what you are looking at. Some sites get cross referencing wrong. They may classify a HD truck as a different body, incorrectly. Others get model years messed up. Funny thing is Amazon is one of the worse...

For example, the oil filter I use for both our van and my truck (they are both 3.6 Pentastar) from Amazon says it fits the van but does not fit my truck, despite both being saved in the correct configuration....

I actually reached out to two of the vendors listing RAM 1500 2500 3500 2011-2017 painted shells and both said it would NOT fit...... Really questioned that, so i went to my local Ram dealer and had the guy look and see, He assured me that the tailgates where the same, so I ordered the painted one on Ebay.
Waiting, should be here friday!
