Please advise on a starting point for troubleshooting these 3 combined codes.

P0300, P0302 & P219B

Check engine light on solid

Running rough at low idle.

Substantial improvement of idle when tow/haul mode engaged.

Truck just purchased. Fleet maintained.

Before I start testing/swapping parts I thought I should get some feed back on the 3 combined codes..

The bad news is a specific cylinder code as in your 2 cylinder had a mis fire and by the sounds of it many mis fires. Tow haul increases rpm, and you have an issue at idle, meaning low rpm misfires. That plus the code for rich or lean gives you a punchers chance at a fuel issue instead of a cam. So if it were me, I'd rule out cam by swapping cylinder two coil pack and plugs with any other cylinder. If you can pull the fuel rail and put a new injector on 2 as well. Does your oil smell like fuel? Bottom line is most of the time you get generic mis fire code plus specific on a hemi it is the cam/lifters, but with the other code you have a chance it is number 2 injector., Keep running codes as well, every start and after you clear them, keep posting them.

I had those codes dealer replaced all the plugs and one coil. Plus a wiring harness the squirrels chewed through. Good luck!
