2015 Ram 1500 Black Express

So I've noticed two things about them.

I'm not sure if all models came with this but I noticed a few at the dealer that were like this.

1. They "retrofitted" the headlights where it's black around the headlight instead of chrome.

2 (maybe). When I was at the dealer for a check up the rims looked plasti-dipped. Is it maybe just a cover for winter? It felt plastic and didn't have that shine to it that mine has.

Yeah, on the dealer page it does say semi-gloss aluminium. But so does the 2013 and they don't have the plastic feel/look to it.

Vehicle pricing absolutely slays me. Their "final price" is a hair more than I paid for my nearly loaded sport.

Pretty sure all the wheels in that style are plastic.

I could see doge going semi gloss to cut cost since ford is doing the same tho...

Possibly, but I saw multiple of the same trucks like that.

Edit; Hell, they even blacked out the emblem on the tire as well. Too bad they didn't do the lug nuts.

Yeah the black editions near me are all flat black wheels...only ones that were glossy were 13s. May be a regional thing

100% sure on the projectors being black. Trust me. I was jelly.

I saw that truck too. But if you look at the first truck, there are three different pictures that show the projector looking black. Is anybody near this truck still? Id really like to see a close up pic. Ill stop by my dealer today and see if i can find one.

...a little less chrome is a step in the right direction!

Yeah the stock projector turn signals are still a little too much. A safety concern by them I'm sure.

Everything I've searched for images shows the 14 and 15 being the same. My wheels are labelled on my window sticker as "semi-gloss" so they aren't shiny nor flat black. Wish I would have made the dealer swap them out with the Sport wheels, though.

As far as the projectors, they look the same too. Maybe they changed after 13? I'm not sure, but I just don't see the difference unless that particular dealership did something, which I highly doubt.

I thought it could be the camera angle too, but that's a lot chrome to hide..
