I highly doubt its the starter relay. I jumped the relay with the keys out of the ignition. It essentially bypassed the computer. I put a battery in it this morning for the windshield wipers to start swiping on their own (switch was off), warning messages displayed in cluster, PRND on cluster would go between like some yellowish color or not show up, and the mileage will flash the correct mileage (235k...) and "No bus".

I opened up AlfaOBD on my phone and tried to connect to one of the modules to read any codes. I selected the ABS module and it failed to connect. After I tried to connect to the ABS module, I got no other input from my truck and was unable to connect to any other modules.

My only thought is: You got something majorily F-UBAR in electrics. U did say fuses were good so guessing you checked continuality.

Wonder if ECU/and or BCM something fried in either of the modules. I can only suggest ref common sense stuff. Does make me think either ECUI or BCM something fried, but just a thought.

Gonna take someone a lot smarter than this humble BOIRD to assist you.

NE Body in the town where you live or close by really good mechanic: Knows how to troubleshoot than just replace parts?

LAST THOUGHT: Check the cable where the main battery cable goes from the Battery to the lug on the fuse box/tipm. MAYBE that cable went bad/shorted? Maybe you can use good connector from Battery Post Directly to that lug/post and see what happens? Beyond that, sorry no more help. (also check all ground cables).

@Wild one gonna have to chime in more on this. He is eons past my rudimentary knowledge.

I just got back to being able to work on my truck. I unplugged the steering rack completely from the truck. The truck started right up, no faults besides service power steering and airbag (which has always been on since before this issue). If I connect the EPS power connector only, truck refuses to start and has all the electric issues.

You had best leave the EPS disconnected unless you're actively troubleshooting.

The link below has a 2013-2016 Service manual. Download it to a PC and use Control F to word search for the EPS components and wiring. I'm having a look to see what I can find.

See the attached PDF for EPS module troubleshooting. There's also a drawing showing connectors and wiring that could be checked for chaffing or shorts.

The above info was found by searching the service manual for 'electronic power steering'.

I was waiting on a bitset so I can pop off the electrical cover on the power steering rack. The bit needed to remove the cover is a Torx IPR20, which I got from this set on autozone https://www.autozone.com/screwdrive...roof-torx-bit-socket-set-12-piece/1483189_0_0

What I found under the cover was water leaking out and burned electronics. There is rust around many parts of the board and plenty of corrosion around the enclosure. I uploaded two new videos to the OneDrive link showing a bit more of what's inside. Even the cover for the electrical board was nasty and corroded 20250601_103220.jpg20250601_114804.jpg20250601_114625.jpg

I want my hydraulic power steering back........

I agree with that so much. Dodge should've put the EPS motor and electronics off the steering column, like many Hyundai vehciles instead of in the rack and pinion where its exposed to the elements.
