What's is the year, series of your Ram. Also what features do your mirrors currently have? I can see if we have a set for you that matches. Also are you looking for a that power folds?

So what is the deal with the restraining brackets? Do the 1AAuto mirrors need these not to shake? In the market for a pair of these QUICK

Well - I ordered them - hope they don't need some other part (undisclosed) to work as intended. I'll post a review once I get them.

how close to the originals are the 1A mirrors? the reason i ask is i have a set of factory tow mirrors off a 2011 and am thinking of just buying the drivers side from 1A then selling the 2011 drivers mirror. i would advertise them now but rules state you need 50 posts. not quite there yet. so would the factory right side mirror aesthetically match up to the 1A?

They bolted right on my 2014 and the power adjustment, temperature sensor and heated glass worked right away. Since I didn't have the turn signals and puddle lights those functions don't work and I will have to get my truck flashed with the appropriate sales codes sometime soon.
The reinforcing bracket is something that comes stock on trucks with tow mirrors that is designed to keep the mirror from vibrating at highway speed when they are being buffeted by the air you are driving through.
I only took one highway trip without the reinforcing brackets and it didn't seem to me that the mirrors were vibrating too much but I went ahead and installed the brackets when they showed up as insurance against problems.

where did you purchase the reinforcing brackets from? Also did you purschase any other hardware or just use the nuts and bolts that came stock on your truck?

I got the brackets from allmoparparts.com You need 6 more nuts and bolts than what come on a truck without tow mirrors. They come 3 to a set when you order them so you need 2 of each part number for the nuts and bolts.
I can't remember who I bought the nuts and bolts from. allmoparparts didn't have them.
