A super nice feature I use a lot with my fob is to just unlatch the "old school" key and you only have to carry the fob. The ring with the old style key and all your other keys can just be hidden in the truck. This is nice when it's hot out and you're just wearing light clothing and don't want to be weighed down with a bunch of rattling keys.

I keep my house/padlock keys separate from my key fob and just have it on a piece of paracord looped over my belt. I have bumped it on something setting off the alarm but only once. I loathe keys, I've scratched too many damn doors with them over the years on older cars.
