2015 towing mirrors

I just had towing mirrors put on my 2015 Express. They are power, not power folding, turn signal, and puddle lamps. I know there are two codes to add for the lamps and signals, LEB and LEC I believe because my truck previously didn't have those on the stock mirrors. My puddle lights are very dim, and only one of the two LED bulbs is working on either side. Also, the passenger side is much dimmer than the driver. Are these faulty puddle lights, wiring, or th dealer didn't add the correct codes? Turn signals work fine.

I am not sure. I put the sport mirrors on my 14 Express added LEB and LEC codes and they work fine. My friend added the tow mirrors to his Express and added the codes. His worked fine as well. It defenetly sounds like maybe a code issue because both mirrors act the same way. You have to have the 13 and up mirrors which I am thinking you must if your outside temp is working. I would suggest maybe having them remove the code and then re install it and see if it helps. I can confirm 100% that this does work on mine and my friends 14 Express.

And both LED bulbs work and work well on both mirrors for the puddles?

Yea they work great. They are super bright on my truck and my friends as well. The don't flicker or dim at all. Realy doesn't make any sense why yours are dim. I think.I read a post a while back about someone having a similar issue but I am not sure if he ever figured it out. I think.the first thing I would try is a reflash on that code if it was me and at least rule that out. I would also disconnect one mirror and see if it somehow affects the other and visa versa to see if maybe somehow one is affecting the other through the BCM just throwing stuff out there to check. Sucks to hear you're having problems. Mine came stock with them and I haven't had any troubles. I rigged the turn signals to running lights as well and they look great.

I followed this write-up to a t. Post #15 was my addition to the thread if you want to see videos of them in action. It definitely gives our truck a unique look as they don't come like that from the factory and I have yet to see another RAM with tow mirror running lights.
