i got a bunch of stuff from 4thgenramelectronics and got it all installed. went great and truck looks new (i'll post pics later, but interior updates so far: new 7" EVIC, new UAQ uconnect from 4thgen, OEM trailer brake, 4thgen aux switches etc).
one major problem with the uconnect though. the GPS seems to get confused. i can turn on the car and it will have me in the right place driving down the street from my house. make a few turns though and it gets wildly off. the compass too will be wrong when this happens (like it will say I am heading NW when I am heading S). it kindof acts like it loses GPS. so it will start accurate but make a few turns, and it will just keep going and next thing you know it's 5 miles off headed wrong compass direction and shows me 3 miles into the gulf of mexico.
i've pulled battery. not sure what else to try. not sure i can update uconnect, obviously from the website it thinks i have the old tiny radio.
anybody experienced this or have any thoughts?

no extra electronics turned on or installed. happens whether phone is plugged into truck or not. sometimes leaving it sit will get it to find me again, sometimes it will turn on lost (IE still off shore). i'm losing my mind....
