A couple ways to tell if head gasket is broke, nice thing about a compression check is it usually reveals 2 cylinders. However, if you will use a gasket sealer all you need is the exhaust bubble test see the video. I would fix it first, and then consider cleaning it with RMI25. However, if you decide on replacing head gasket first, then run rmi 25 through 500 miles if you can. Change the oil, see if you are getting cross mixing. Any smoke out the tail pipe especially start up? and is over flow still at level?

One check you can do is, once the truck has sat for a day or so, crack the oil drain plug loose, but DO NOT remove it.

Put a small container underneath it, and loosen the drain plug just enough that it starts to drip.

Watch the drips. If there's coolant in the crankcase, you will see it very quickly.

Im willing to bet you mixed coolant or did you ever use stop leak? Regardless that is not oil i have seen oil in plenty of hemis cooling systems.

I’m thinking the same thing. Never used stop leak. Know of any good videos showing how to flush, or should I just bring it to a dealership?

your better off bringing it somewhere if you dont know what your doing they can try to flush it but dont be shocked if you need a new radiator and your heater core is prob clogged to.

The oil system runs at +/- 40 psi. The water system runs at 9 psi. The milk-shake in the radiator is more than likely oil getting inot the water jacket where there is a realy small area of gasket betwiin the oil and water passages. Been there, fixed that. Exhaust gasses in the water jacket is a blown gasket from cylinder to water jacket.
