2017 1500 recalls! fuel tank, engine stop

Hey taking my 2017 1500 hemi in for recalls, as i do research i cant get clear answers as to what is needed, dealership said i needed to have a letter from chrysler if there were specific recalls, I have a 32 gallon tank and at fill up it only ever says 26 gallons, wondering if that will be covered, the engine some times shuts off after start as well, hoping that is a fix, these are my main concerns any of the other stuff would be nice to kno about thanks

mine is a 26 gallon tank. both of your issues I would bring up. should still be in warranty window. when I took mine in. I think 2 were updates, one was airbag module and the other is tailgate. Mine is a 2017 express.

If there is recalls, updates, etc for your truck, they will pop up automatically when your dealer plugs in and scans your truck, no paperwork needed.

Definitely mention the engine shut off issue. If you haven't had it in yet for any recalls there's the air bag & tailgate as Indydon mentioned and also a cruise control and a autopark update.

When I got the autopark update, it also fixed the 32 gallon problem. My gas gauge is now accurate.

Autopark update also fixed my 32 gallon tank gauge as well. I was surprised that the gas gauge fix still worked even after I switched out to my unlocked pcm.

Your 2017 Ram 1500 came with 32gallon tank? I've wanted to add one since my Ram Std cab w/6'4" bed has plenty of room underneath for the 32 gal.

I have a 2017 Laramie that came with the 32 gallon tank. When I first got it the reading was off. One of the recalls I had done fixed that though.

When I got the autopark update, it also fixed the 32 gallon problem. My gas gauge is now accurate.

Not necessarily true. I had the update done as well and my fuel tank still reads incorrectly. After many attempts i just live with it, at least i'll never run out of gas.
