U got 3.21s +35s u might want to get a pedal commander and that should help what you should do is re-gear as I’ve seen others do when they go to 35s. I have a 18cc 4x2 hemi with 3.92s and it’s a beast out of the hole.

I had a 2008 345hp 2 wheel drive 4 speed auto quad cab and raced it against a 2016 395 hp 8 speed. The newer truck passed me like i was sitting still. I dont know what gears were in either truck.
Yea mine is a monster out of the hole and I have 3.92s

I drove one for 20 minutes once, but to me, the 3.21/8 is fine for the 1/2 second that you're in first gear. After that, I'll take my truck all day long.

However, I do understand that electronic nannies may have been intervening. Knowing what I do now, I'll never have anything but 3.92s in a new truck.

Yeah, 35's on a truck with 3.21 gears was a bad idea. I knew that when I bought it but I thought the new 8-speed would make up for it - and it does in the first couple of gears but it has trouble on the top end where it has a hard time staying in 8th gear on the freeway. Slightest uphill grade and it quickly downshifts to 7th. Factory gears optimized for factory tires.

Hey I see you have jba shorties (last truck had jba LTs and they were great) have you had any issues? Also I don’t think you have to have a tune correct?

I had an 08 hemi quad 3.92 with can tune and cai.

Now have a 16 hemi CC 8sp with 3.92.

When I picked up the 16 I was not impressed with the performance. I swear my 08 was every bit as quick/ fast as the 16. I really wish I would've ran them but 08 was already sold so didn't have a chance.

I have a PC, cai and exhaust on the 16 and it feels very quick now. The PC is a must imo!

Sea, they've been perfect. No leaks, no rust, no cracks. Got em from Matt @ Moe's.

Don't know wether you need a tune or not. Matt can answer that. Good luck!
