We just got probably 7-8 inch was of snow in the last three days, my wheel cover on the front passenger side got ripped off a few weeks ago backing out, just had $5k in work done to it. Brakes, rotors, calipers, ball joints, control arms, CV axels.

Driving in town today my “Service trailer brake system, Service ABS system” came on my dash, now the ABS, trailer Brake and Traction control service lights are on.

Would snow getting on the wiring harness cause this? Years ago snow getting on a transmission sensor caused it to throw a tranny code for a little bit. Wondering if this could be the same problem?? Fuses are good, Trailer brake connectors are clean and clear, no other issues whatsoever

Wondering if The wheel covering being gone def helped prompt that kind of error.

Ice could have gotten in and possibly damaged a wheel speed sensor. Or like you say, could be something with the wiring. Maybe a chunk of ice damaged it, or the technician who did work recently didn't get the wire connector fully snapped in place.

Or... it could be a brake switch which suddenly decided to flake out.

The first step should be to get the codes scanned. Maybe swing by a parts store. They usually do it for free. If the code says it's a wheel sensor, check the wiring before buying a new sensor.

Did you replace the axle bearings, possible that speed sensor got damaged, with all of that work done.
