New Ram owner. 2017 with Uconnect 8.4 v8.45.01. Does android auto work with this radio? Or is it only available on 2018 radios at an upgrade cost of $1200 (yikes!)

Android Auto/Car Play support didn't start till the 2018 model year, so yes your looking at upgrading to a UAS or UAQ
