2017 Uconnect Issues

I need HELP!! Just bought a 2017 Tradesman. The radio was already upgraded to the 8.4" with Nav. But the screen was flickering really bad so the dealer said they would change it. Now I have a remanufactured 8.4" with Nav but now the Uconnect wont work at all. The Nav and GPS seem to be working but I cannot register the Uconnect. Not sure if Android Auto was working on the other radio but that will not load as well. Can anyone help me to get the damn Uconnect working. I called Uconnect and they said that my truck was not eligible for Uconnect. She could not explain how it was working before

Android Auto/CarPlay support didn't start till the 2018 model year radios.
As for UConnect service that is the ability to remote start the truck, unlock doors, etc via the app on your phone, after the first year it coat $150/yr for it to work.

Well it was working on the original radio that was installed so I would assume that they have installed an older radio. Is there anyway to figure out the radio date from the settings?
