I bought a used 2018 Dodge Hemi 6.1 with 30,000. I drove it for 2 weeks, and the other morning I tried to start it, but I had no power at the ignition, dash wouldn’t light up, nothing. The only way the dash lights would come on is if I turned the headlights on. I bought a new battery, but still nothing, it still won’t crank. This is my first Dodge, does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

They didn't. :)

@Magnum727 If your truck is a 1500 then it has the 5.7L Hemi. If it is a 2500 it could still be a 5.7L but a lot of 2500 trucks came with the 6.4L/392 cu. in. Hemi.

You can check your engine data sticker under the hood on the radiator core support to confirm.

As far as the electrical problem the first thing I'd check is your chassis ground. From there check your positive and negative cables for continuity. After that it's probably best if you can get it to a MOPAR technician for a diagnostic.

Good luck!

Dodge split off the Ram as it's own brand in 2009 with the Gen 4, Dodge continues with cars and the minivan. Of course Chrysler has the Pacifica. There is more, but basics are covered. So that is the ribbing you are getting for calling it a Dodge Ram. As far as 6.1, I assume you just hit the 4 under the 1 here and in your profile. The engine would be a 6.4 L, unless you do have the 5.7 L.

I second above, start with a good cleaning and tightening of you main electric cables. You could have battery tested as well. Also have dealer search past records to see if it was serviced for an electrical issue, there is always a chance you bought someone else's problem. Good luck.
