I keep looking through threads, the internet, and the YouTubes but havent really found the answer I am looking for... The answer that doesnt involve shooting wires lol. I got a License Plate Bulb Out message and they were both out... I figured it is possible that the message only goes off once they are both out... so I threw new OEM bulbs at it... No Fix. I have confirmed that there is no voltage at either connector... I dont have any other lights or functions that are failing. Has anyone experienced this failure that has nothing to do with LED Lights being installed? Any help or direction on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

In the diagram you can see that the license plate light voltage comes from the Body Control Module. Not likely that it is bad just for this one circuit. First check the grounds off pin 2. If they're good, then you need to start tracing back on the power wire. As you can see there is one splice that splits the power to both lights and one inline chassis connector. You'll just have to follow back to see where it's broken or disconnected. Good luck.

Brandon, check the wire harness where it wraps around the left front cab mount, I found chaffed and broken wires there that went to my 7 pin connector.

I looked under the truck and followed the harness from rear to front and didn't find anything that jumped out so before I started digging in to shoot wires I went back to an area I already looked... I recently installed some auxiliary lighting and routed the wires through the firewall harness gasket (I dont know if that's what it's called lol). Sure enough... I broke the wire while pushing my other wiring through. Jumpered and repaired.

Thanks for the help and information.
