Hey ALL!
I have a 2018 Ram and my USB Hub, which is located in the console, is not working at all. Nothing! I replaced with a new unit, nothing. The hub contains 2 USB ports and an auxiliary port. The funny thing is, the radio screen seems to show that it senses an aux connection but nothing is connected. Same with either the original or the new hub. Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thank you!

I’m having the same issue (2018 Ram 3500 Tradesman). I have the basic system without u connect. It worked at one time when I used a Bluetooth adapter in the aux port. Now all I get is either aux or usb not available. I can’t find the right part number for a replacement hub.

On my 2016 Ram Bighorn 1500
I was attempting to update my radio
I could not make the thumb drive work, i rechecked the formatting, etc.
I took it to a computer shop, it still would not work

I returned to the dealership & a tech used a smaller thumb drive & i was told that everything was working.
The Service Writer pushed the AUX button & plugged in his smart phone & played his music through my Rams speakers, so i guess it works.
He just said one USB was strictly for charging

I will have to take their word for it, i don't have a smart phone or record music & put it on a storage device

I replaced the hub in center console and it worked for awhile. Now all I get is “aux input not available”. Really don’t want to take to dealership because 1. They will charge too much and 2. Won’t ultimately fix it.
the issue. Any other suggestions??

Check power going to the hub, does a phone show a charging indicator if plugged into one of the USB ports?
You can also pull the back off the center console (if so equipped), the plug for the port in back there. I believe the power wires are red, check with the ignition On
