2019 1500 Classic sport Hood

Hey all, new to this forum. I am looking for suggestions for rock guards/bug shield for my 2019 RAM classic with a sport hood. I've looked on amazon and everything that pops up on there says "excluding sport hood". Any help would be appreciated!!

Skip it, they look ridiculous. Do clear bra if you need to do something.

Some people believe in function over looks, hood scoops aren't functional, but a deflector can save the windshield from small rocks and bugs, not just the edge of the hood.

Have the 2020 version in Saskatoon..went with 3M clear bra..can hardly see it and protects like iron.

I put one on for the winter to protect the front from salt and sand blast.As far as scoops go they're only for show even if you open them up.

Have the 2020 version in Saskatoon..went with 3M clear bra..can hardly see it and protects like iron.

In my experience the clear bra turns yellow after a while.

Had 3M stuff on 2 vehicles for a total of 6 yrs..no yellow..no lift, and I wax and polish mine.

I got the Lund Aeroskin deflector. It even came color matched to my paint code. Can hardly tell its there.

Hey Georgiasport, how is that deflector holding up regarding adhesion with the 3M tape? I've read a few of the 5th Gen reviews on this deflector and there are alot of complaints of it coming unstuck soon after the install.

I would have done the Clearbra on mine but ended up with a two dings in the middle of the hood at the edge from a stone that struck it. Your deflector looks like a good option to hide the dings.

Mine has held up or "on" great. Lol. I think it came with a few towelettes of the adhesion promoter. Plus I wiped the area of the hood edge down with alcohol pads before hand.

Plus the air deflector is flat against the profile of the hood with only heavy duty 3m tape between it. Lowest profile other than a 3m film.

It's 3m tape, if it can't unstuck, that's error by the installer, not the product. Guaranteed not cleans surface properly.
